Finally, an update!
The good news is, it's all new. It's Cleaner. Sharper. Massiver. The bad news is that I haven't figured out what to put on this page yet. Obviously, it's got to be ABOUT something. I think it's supposed to be about me, James McKenzie, and/or my company, Massive Imageworks. But I don't know what to say yet. If you want me to say something specially tailored to you, you can email me at james (at) massiveimageworks dot com and I'll be happy to tell you what you want to hear.
For now, I'll give you the nuts and bolts. I'm a trained photojournalist, but since my move to St. Louis, I've found myself moving toward the commercial end of photography. I've been assisting at several large commercial studios in town for the past couple of years, and now I'm transitioning to be a retoucher. I've got some work examples on my retouching page, and those should be updated pretty regularly, because I'm always working on something new and awesome that I'm sure I'll want to show you.
Oh, and I'm also pretty big into logo design. I've got a somewhat formulaic idiom when it comes to a logo design-- I like 'em bold, clean, and crisp. Most of my logo work has been for ultimate frisbee teams, and I definitely have a predilection towards sports logos, but I'm not afraid to slap a new design on a company or a product either.
